National Stadium

The station located on the 'central' end of the Silom Line, National Stadium, is a popular shopping destination for both tourists and locals alike. The BTS is connected to an extensive sky walk that leads directly into some of Bangkok’s most hip spaces such as Siam Center which is an alternative shopping center that sells quirky upscale products geared towards teens and young adults. There’s also the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) where various local and international arts and exhibitions are held regularly. The most famous go-to-place in this area is the Maboonkrong mall, better known as MBK. The mall was once made famous for its affordable electronic gadgets, however today the mall has transformed into a one-stop-shopping place that sells everything from bargained clothing items to fixtures and furniture. MBK is also impressively completed with a cinema, bowling alley, escape game rooms, supermarket, high-end and low-end food courts and various beauty clinics located on different floors, which makes it a perfect place for families to go on the weekends.
