Chit Lom
Chit Lom is home to the Erawan shrine, a must see for tourists and a regular place of worship for Thais too. Chit Lom is adjacent to Ratchaprasong and its bright surrounding shopping district, with malls including Central Chidlom, Central Embassy, Gaysorn, Amarin Plaza and of course Central World. Each full of high street fashion and fine dining. These areas are very popular with tourists (something to bear in mind) with its combination of retail shops and 4 and 5 star hotels including the famous Intercontinental right by the BTS station which is also home to after-hours nightclub ‘Mixx’. With Chit Lom being so central it is an easy place to move around Bangkok from, including its neighbor Siam but also close to the Silom area via Wireless road or BTS.
