Thong Lo

Thong Lo is known to be trendy, chic and arty. Directly connected to Ekkami these are certainly the most hip areas of Sukhumvit with numerous small ‘boutique’ malls, restaurants, theatre spaces and much more such as many high-end wedding studios. Like Phrom Phong, there are a high number of Japanese and Korean expats but with only one British/Irish pub – Flann O'Brien's. Popular with young cool Thais, there are many Thai style pubs and bars such as Muse, Funky Villa and Nang Len along with the unusually cool Iron Fairies. Of note is that between Thong Lo and Phrom Phong on Soi 49 is Rain Hill Plaza. There’s a lot of Japanese food here but there is also all manner of high end fusion restaurants, coffee shops, fashion retailers and pubs/bars.
